When we arrived at this site on the mountain in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, this is what we saw when we stepped out on the back deck! Wow! The rain had stopped. It was still cloudy and the sun had gone down or was hidden, not sure which. The misty rainy fog had lifted. I was like, wow, what a mood, I just loved it. I grabbed my oil paints even before I unpacked my bags. I knew I had to capture this before it was gone!
