Description
When I saw this mother with her baby, Bakari, it touched my heart. The baby stayed so close to his mother, Malaika. Even when she went to get a drink of water, he went with her. The baby was not well when he was born, so the zoo keepers bottle fed him. I painted this scene in acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. I have spent two years or more, off and on working on this piece. I finished it. I will have prints made, either on paper or gallery wrapped canvas. You can contact me to order a print. Not all prints have to be the original size; they can be smaller.
