I fell in love with this charming Italian restaurant. The orange colors inspired me to paint it. I especially enjoyed seeing the white trim on the building and the deep shadow it cast on the front. I also liked the fact that the owner used orange umbrellas on the patio, too. I thought, he/she likes color as much as I do! I really felt like it gave the restaurant such a warm inviting feeling to its patrons. When I went inside, I saw the young waitress, behind the counter, with her apron on and her hair pinned up framing her pretty face, then I walked into the back and saw the owner, an elderly gentleman, with balding head, and I was truly struck that this was a scene out of a Pino painting!! It was so authentic! I really enjoyed painting this picture!
