Description
This is the Raven Golf Course in Snowshoe, West Virginia. It was formerly Hawthorne Valley Golf Course. We played this golf course a few years ago and I honestly thought it was the most beautiful place on earth. I know now what John Denver meant when he said, "Almost heaven, West Virginia...". As we played golf, deer crossed the fairway, hawks flew overhead and we even saw a red fox crossing the green. All of these are good reasons to play golf!!
