When I saw this elderly gentleman in San Francisco, my heart leapt. I felt I must capture the essence of his spirit and determination. He was well dressed, yet wore sensible shoes to get him to his destination. He was walking briskly, yet yielded a cane. I felt the cane was a stablizer. The original painting won First Place in a KWS show at the Kentucky Center for the Arts. It was also voted staff favorite. The original painting was purchased by a geriatric doctor. I do have limited edition, signed and numbered prints available to "Carry On".
