Description
I went to San Diego for a watercolor workshop, working on location (en plein air). The instructor was the famous Hazel Soan. She is from London but also has a studio in South Africa. I have loved her work for years and studied her books. We went to Tuna Harbor. Our instruction that day was to paint a boat. I did most of this painting there, but, when I got home, I thought it needed tweaking. I added the birds!
