Description
I went to the Buffalo Paint Out in Owensboro, Kentucky. It was sponsored by the Owensboro Museum of Art. We were advised to paint historic buildings there. I went to the O.Z. Tyler Distillery. I chose this scene because I thought it was pertinent to the event. It has been the home of many famous distilleries for more than 100 years. It was so hot that day, I could hardly find any shade to paint in. Luckily, I was wearing a hat. It was almost a 100 degrees. This is a plein air oil painting, done on site!! It is framed in a gold plein air frame. The framed size is 15 x 18 inches.
