Description
I painted this scene the last day of the Owensboro Bronze Buffalo Paint-Out! I did not want to paint a bronze statue of a buffalo. I did some research, and with the help of the Museum and my nephew, we found the buffalo. (the live ones) I hurried out of town to find them. There they were on top of the hill, grazing. My husband backed the car up and I threw up the hatch and proceeded to paint out of the back of my car, as quickly as possible, because the buffalo were moving. I finished the painting, my husband framed it, and I had to turn it in to the Museum by 1Pm!! We did it. It was crazy and fun.
