Description
This was my brother's baby donkey. When I went for a visit to his farm, he couldn't wait to show me the new addition to his animal family. We went to the barn and he opened the stall door to let the mother and baby out. The mother was very protective of her baby and kept her eye on me. I kept my distance and just enjoyed watching her motherliness. I respected her for that. The little baby looked like he didn't know what was going to happen next, but he appeared stubborn anyway and adorable with his curly hair. They trust my brother completely because he is so gentle with them. This painting of Jack, Jr. won First Place in the Kentucky State Fair one year. Jack, Jr. now is all grown up and has a baby of his own, a little girl, Jinny.
