This mountain is so famous in Switzerland!! I couldn’t wait to see it. Finally, when we got to Zermatt, there it was in full view. I was so lucky. My hotel room overlooked the Matterhorn! After painting and sightseeing one day, I took a break from the group, skipped dinner, and sat on my balcony and painted the Matterhorn. It was so exciting and peaceful at the same time.
