Description
We went to the Blue Heron Winery last fall, to enjoy the autumn colors. We stayed at their cabin up on the hill, by the Vineyard. It was a glorious day with the sun shining and the wind blowing. I was so excited to paint! I set up my easel on the back porch and had this view of the Vineyard. I started this scene in oil. The wind was blowing harder than I thought, and I had to anchor my pallet with rocks to keep it from flipping over! Anyway, it was a joyful experience, and this is the finished product!
