Description
I painted in the new Parklands with the Plein Air Painters of Kentucky. The Parklands has become a very popular place to visit. There are hiking, biking and walking trails. Floyd's Fork Creek runs through the park. Many people love to go canoeing in the creek. This is the Gheens Foundation Lodge, "A Place to Meet". Many businesses have there meetings there. It is also popular for wedding receptions. The architecture is so interesting, I couldn't resist painting this scene! This painting was in the Art Exhibit in the Jane Morgan Gallery, May 4th through July 30, 2016. It is framed in a 3 inch gold plein air frame. It is for sale in my Studio Gallery currently.
