I painted en plein air at Sutherland Farm last summer. The weather was beautiful. The scenery lovely. While painting this scene, this little white dog came out to inspect me. Her name was Lucye. I thought she was so cute that I decided to put her in this painting. I think she adds a lot of charm and life to this artwork!
