Description
I visited Owensboro for the Bronze Buffalo Paint Out with the Owensboro Art Museum. When I saw the old fashioned swing on the large tree in front of the John A. Medley house, it caught my eye. I got out my supplies from the back of the car and sat up to do this painting. It was a very hot afternoon. This is watercolor and ink. The house was built in 1848 and was used as a hospital during the Civil War. The swing makes me think of happier times!
