Description
During my Hazel Soan Workshop, one of our subjects to paint, was an elephant. We went to the San Diego Zoo to see the elephants and penguins. After trekking through the zoo, packing our gear on our backs in 88 degree weather, Hazel gave a demonstration on how to paint elephants. I started my painting, but couldn't finish because of time. We had to pack up and walk to the Trolley Stop. I was really glad to sit on the ground and catch my breath! I finished this elephant in my room at night! When I showed it to Hazel a few days later, she got excited because she liked the way I painted him!
