In my Hazel Soan Workshop, we went to the famous San Diego Zoo. The first exhibit we saw were the penguins. They were adorable. After our tiring trek through the Zoo, packing our gear on our backs, Hazel did a demonstration on how to paint penguins. I have actually painted penguins several times in the past because they are just so cute! I wanted to learn Hazel's technique. She simplifies the painting process. I love the body language of these two penguins. Still not enough time to finish the painting, so I finished later in my studio after I got home. A lot of our time during this workshop, was spent walking to and from our painting destinations.
