Description
When I did this painting of the white horse running so hard, I could just imagine him thundering along the earth! I love horses, even though I don’t ride them. I admire them and I think they are one of the most beautiful creatures on earth. This is a 5 x 5“ wood block. I painted it with a coat of black gesso. After it was dry, I painted this scene in acrylic. I then coated it with a protective finish of polycrylic. It is in the historic Brown Hotel gallery and gift shop in downtown Louisville, Kentucky.
