Description
This is another plein air oil painting I did on the banks of the Ohio River, overlooking Twelve Mile Island. It is just up the river from downtown Louisville, Kentucky. As you can see, it was a beautiful day to be outdoors, painting on the banks of the Ohio River! This is a companion piece to "Kayaks at Twelve Mile Island". They can be displayed together or separately.
Their similarity in color and design compliment each other. Some of the colors are neutral and would go either in a contemporary or urban farmhouse setting. Or, they could just brighten up a wall and let you feel the outdoors!
