Description
This is an acrylic Mosaic Horse painting on gessoed watercolor paper. These types of paintings are so energizing to create. Early in the spring in Kentucky, thoughts of the Derby and horses are on folks minds. I finished it by spraying a protective coating on the painting. When that was dry, I coated it with a polycrylic finish. It was then adhered to the wood panel block, which I had also prepared, overnight. Then a final coat of polycrylic was applied. These paintings are fun to do, but labor intensive. It is a labor of love!
