Description
This is one of my favorite paintings that I have done. These are my artist friends. Tried and true. As we were taking the garden tour, I saw these shoulder high flowers. I lagged behind and saw my friends heads just over the top. The property owner was telling them a story. I felt I had to capture it! As I painted this in watercolor on gesso, I changed their house to look more like a storybook house. I entered this painting in CKAG. When her husband saw it at the opening of the show, he said, "I knew it was mine". It now hangs in their sunroom!
