Description
I was following this cat in Florida, near Lighthouse Point in Deerfield Beach, a few years ago at my sister-in-law's house and he crouched down by the bamboo tree. I gasped when I saw his turquoise eyes matched the color of the tree! When I got home and developed the photo, I thought I must paint him. I decided to paint him in watercolor on gesso, because the effect is different than on plain watercolor paper. This was a fun painting to do.
