Description
While we were visiting the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary near Hot Springs, South Dakota, I had gotten out of the vehicle to see the primitive drawings (petroglyphs) on the red rocks. Man and beast they were. As I approached them, I notice a cave in the rocks. This little bunny was resting there in the cool dirt shade. I loved the way he was the same color as the rocks. Even the old weathered wood seemed to be the same color. Of course, the bunny rabbit was wondering what I was going to do, but all I wanted was a photo so that I could paint this unique little scene.
