Description
This is "Jimmy's" in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on the Ohio River. This was a very interesting place. Patrons would come there for lunch, sometimes on their motorcycles. They would sit outside and have some food and drink in the afternoon sun. This particular day, in the afternoon, everyone went upstairs to dine. Suddenly, everyone was in silhouette! I was pretty excited. This was a plein air painting and I had spent most of my time painting the building and outdoors with the intention of painting the people on the patio. But, when they all left and went upstairs, I was thrilled because I thought the silhouette added a bit of mystery to the painting!
