Description
I was visiting my sister on her farm. We took a walk in the woods. As we walked, she showed me the creek and her property line. We were on our way back when I saw this old truck abandoned in the woods. The sun was shining on it just so and it had a pinkish tint to it and some yellow. I exclaimed to her, "Oh, it is beautiful!" She burst out laughing. She said, "Helen, only you would think that". To her, it was a dirty old rusty truck that didn't run anymore. When I decided to paint it, I thought it would be fun to paint it in watercolor on gesso, because that would give it a different look and I could be more carefree with it.
